Our service includes inspection of all door parts, slats, springs, operator, hood, bearings, cables, rollers, tracks, sections, etc. Over time springs and many other parts, become fatigued, miss aligned, or worn out. We will adjust spring counter balance, as needed, center & level the door in the opening and provide a Field Observation Report Sheet for each General Service visit. A copy of this report sheet and field work ticket identifying any inadequacies will accompany our Invoice for this work.

- Fire Door Drop Testing
NFPA 80 requires all fire doors to be tested annually.
We handle virtually any size fire door and frame in the U.S.
Section 5.2* States: Fire door assemblies shall be inspected and tested not less than annually, and a written record of the inspection shall be signed and kept for inspection by the authority having jurisdiction. Section 5.2.14.3 States: All horizontal or vertical sliding and rolling fire doors shall be inspected and tested annually to check for operation and full closure. Section 5.2.8 States: Resetting of the release mechanism shall be done in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. Section 5.2.9 States: Hardware shall be examined, and inoperative hardware, parts, or other defects shall be replaced without delay. Sections 5.2.14.4 States: Fusible links or other heat-actuated devices and release devices shall not be painted. Section 5.2.7 States: Assembly shall be reset after a successful test and left in the charged position.
